Pilates is a gentle training method that was developed by Joseph Pilates. With concentration, controlled movements and conscious breathing, the body and mind will work simultaneously and promote well-being. The exercises shape and improve the condition (lengthen) of the muscles, improve the posture and encourage the mobility. Special focus is given to the center part (core) of the body and its deep abdominal muscles.
Pilates can be practiced by anyone, at any age. The gentle exercises do not harm your body and can be adapted to your personal needs.
